Institutionalised mental patient (Olivia Cooke) suffers musical delusions in which she believes she is Mary Poppins and inhabits a world filled with Disney characters. Meanwhile, assigned psychologist (Emma Thompson) struggles to come to grips with her patient’s condition, as well as the forceful overtures of a visiting physician (Jeremy Irons, Lin Manual Miranda, Jermaine Clement, Daniel Day-Lewis, Johnny Depp, Jude Law) who also manifests as villain Jafar in her patient’s delusions.
